Method 1: Run Internet Explorer Troubleshooter

1.Type “troubleshooting” in Windows Search bar and click on Troubleshooting.

2.Next, from the left window pane select View all.

3.Then from the Troubleshoot computer problems list select Internet Explorer Performance.

4.Follow on-screen instruction and let the Internet Explorer Performance Troubleshooter run.

5.Restart your PC and again try to use Internet Explorer 11.

Method 6: Disable IE add-ons

1.Press Windows Key + X then select Command Prompt (Admin).

4.Press Alt key to bring up the IE menu and select Tools > Manage Add-ons.

5.Click on All add-ons under show in the left corner.

6.Select each add-on by pressing Ctrl + A then click Disable all.

8.If the problem is fixed then one of the add-ons caused this issue, in order check which one you need to re-enable add-ons one by one until you get to the source of the problem.

9.Re-enable all your add-ons except the one causing the problem and it would be better if you delete that add-on.

Method 7: Reset Internet Explorer

2.Navigate to the Advanced then click Reset button in the bottom under Reset Internet Explorer settings.

3.In the next window that comes up make sure to select the option “Delete personal settings option.“

Method 9: Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes

Perform a Full antivirus scan to make sure your computer is secure. In addition to this run CCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-malware.

1.Download and install CCleaner & Malwarebytes.

2.Run Malwarebytes and let it scan your system for harmful files.

3.If malware is found it will automatically remove them.

2.Then click Programs > View installed updates.

3.Scroll down till you find the cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 11 and uninstall it.

Method 10: Run System File Checker (SFC) and Check Disk (CHKDSK)

Sfc /scannow sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows

3.Wait for the above process to finish and once done restart your PC.
