It’s been noticed that browser software developers already realized that today’s Web browsers user interface are cluttered with a lot of buttons, and toolbars covering a big part of the screen, which is not an efficient way to view and enjoy Web pages. But now a lot of them, including Firefox, are getting slimmer better utilizing every pixel on the screen. All these new approaches are great, but they don’t come without a price, most of the options and settings are now more than 2 clicks away, and in some cases they’ve been re-arranged. Don’t sweat it just yet, because Firefox, as most Web browsers today, come with a lot of keyboard and mouse shortcuts that can help you to be faster and more efficient at surfing the internet. That is why today we are going to list Firefox’s most useful keyboard and mouse shortcuts.
Firefox Keyboard Shortcuts
Navigation
- Alt+Home – Takes you to home page.
- Alt+Left – Moves back through your history.
- Alt+Right – Moves forward through your history.
- F5 or Ctrl+R – Page refresh.
- Ctrl+F5 – Refreshes the current page but it also override cache.
- Esc – Stop loading the current page.
- Alt – Brings the old Menu Bar back.
Bookmarks, History & Tools
- Ctrl+Shift+B – Show all Bookmarks.
- Ctrl+I – Show all bookmarks in the left side.
- Ctrl+D – Bookmark the current page.
- Ctrl+Shift+D – Bookmark all Tabs.
- Ctrl+Shift+H – Show all history.
- Ctrl+Shift+Del – Deletes recent history.

- Ctrl+T – Opens a new Tab.
- Ctrl+N – Opens a new window.
- Ctrl+Shift+W or Alt+F4 – Close current window.
- Ctrl+Tab – Move between Tabs (moving right).
- Ctrl+Shift+Tab – Move the previous Tab (moving left).
- Ctrl+Shift+T – Undo a close Tab.
- Ctrl+1 to 8 – Select a Tab 1 to 8.

- Home – Takes you to the top of the page.
- End – Takes you to the bottom of the page.
- Ctrl + – Zoom In.

- Ctrl+Scroll down – Zoom In.

- Shift+Scroll down – Go back.
- Shift+ Scroll up – Go forward.
- Alt+Scroll – Scroll a page line by line.
- Ctrl+Drag – Copy Tab or Bookmark.
- Alt+Left-click – Save Page As.
- Shift+Left-click – Open link in a new window.
