What is Destined Death in Elden Ring
As you may have heard, Death comes in many forms. While Destined Death is pivotal to the plot, you can also wield it. It is the default weapon skill of Maliketh’s Black Blade, a Colossal sword. But to get this, you need to defeat Maliketh, the Black Blade, and get its Remembrance.
Once you have defeated Maliketh at the Crumbling Farum Azula, he will drop the Remembrance of the Black Blade and 220,000 Runes. If you are having trouble finding him, check out our guide on how to find Maliketh, the Black Blade.
You can trade the Remembrance with Enia at the Roundtable Hold to get a weapon or an incantation.
You can also duplicate the remembrance at the Walking Mausoleum to get your hands on both.
Head over to the Roundtable Hold and while interacting with Enia, choose the “unlock its power” option to receive the weapon.
As mentioned earlier, Destined Death is the default weapon skill of the Black Blade.
Now, you wield the power to inflict Destined Death upon your enemies.
The Black Blade reduces the targeted enemy’s HP by 10% and consumes 40 FP.
This Colossal sword deals inflicts Holy Damage and can be boosted with several consumables.
You can also stack Destined Death with Golden Vow or Flame Grant Me strength to inflict more damage.
Spoilers! It is the same power that was stolen by Queen Marika and caused the shattering of the Elden Ring. Talking about the endings, Destined Death is also mentioned in the Duskborn Ending. Malenia will state that she will deliver the Lord of Frenzied Flame, a Destined Death.
