The launch of Overwatch 2 hasn’t been going as smoothly as planned by Blizzard due to numerous issues. But that being said, several players using controllers simply need the Aim assist feature. Several FPS video games feature this setting. While PC players have the luxury to pinpoint and target their opponents, it is a bit of a hassle for console players. As OW 2 features crossplay, it is seemingly unfair for console players to be pitted against PC players. This is where the Aim assist can balance out the gap. But does Overwatch 2 have Aim assist feature on PC and console? Check out our guide to find out.
Does Overwatch 2 have Aim Assist? (PC/Console)
The answer to that question depends on your supported platform. If you are using a controller on supported consoles, the answer to that question is Yes. For console players, this feature will be enabled by default. On the other hand, there is no aim assist feature for PC players. Unfortunately, PC players cannot enable this feature even if they are connected to a controller.

Aim Assist not Working During Crossplay in OW 2
The main reason for this issue is due to joining a PC lobby or playing crossplay with PC players or friends. The aim assist feature disables automatically if you are connected to a friend playing on a PC.
So, avoid playing crossplay in a PC lobby or with players on PC to use the aim assist feature. You need to disable the cross-play feature in Settings to use aim assist.
