This walkthrough covers the Destiny 2 Symphony of Death quest and how to get the Deathbringer on all platforms. To attempt this sidequest, you need the Shadowkeep DLC expansion pack.

How to Complete the Symphony of Death Quest
Before you can begin the Symphony of Death quest, there are a number of other objectives you must complete:
- Complete all of the main Shadowkeep campaign quests, then talk to Eris Morn in the Sanctuary to collect the Memory of Sai Mota.
- Talk to Eris again and accept the Lunar Spelunker bounty.
- Complete three Lost Sectors across the Moon (K1 Communion, K1 Crew Quarters, and K1 Logistics).
- After collecting the loot at the end of each sector, collect the Firewall Data Fragment as your reward for the bounty.
- Complete the final Lost Sector (K1 Revelation) in Sorrow’s Harbor. At the end of the sector, look for an orange tunnel leading to a locked door. Use the Firewall Data Fragment to unlock it and obtain Sai Mota’s Broken Necklace.
- Go to Sorrow’s Harbor and defeat Nightmares using Arc abilities to collect 20 Necklace Scraps.
- You can use any weapon to drain the Nightmare’s health bar, but the final blow must be from an Arc weapon for it to drop Necklace Scraps.
- Return to the Sanctuary and enter the portal where you normally find Eris. After talking to Eris, open the chest behind her to begin the first step in the Symphony of Death quest, Faculties of the Skull.
- After completing the Faculties of the Skull quest step in the Circle of Bones, return to Eris in the Sanctuary to begin the Marrow’s Elegy quest step. You’ll be tasked with collecting three bones by completing the following objectives:
- Complete a Public Event in the Hellmouth.Clear the K1 Revelation Lost Sector on the Moon (again).Defeat a Wandering Bone Collector on the Moon.
- Wandering Bone Collectors spawn randomly in the Anchor of Light on the Moon. They tend to appear near the Fallen encampment.
- Join the Scarlet Keep Strike and defeat Sulmakta the High Conductor on the second floor.
- Complete the Of Darkest Harmony quest step by defeating enemies. There are three separate objectives:
- Defeat regular enemies.Defeat enemies with yellow or red health bars.Defeat bosses or other guardians.
- Since this step can take a while, you might want to take on other quests while you work on this one.
- Complete the Choir of the Damned quest step. Head back to the Circle of Bones and defeat Ir Airam the Deathsinger, then return to Eris to obtain the Deathbringer rocket launcher.
What Can the Deathbringer Exotic Rocket Launcher Do?
The Deathbringer is an Exotic weapon exclusive to the Shadowkeep expansion. The Deathbringer launches rockets that split into multiple projectiles for maximum range and damage.
Complete all of the main Shadowkeep campaign quests, then talk to Eris Morn in the Sanctuary to collect the Memory of Sai Mota.
Talk to Eris again and accept the Lunar Spelunker bounty.

While it sacrifices handling speed as a trade-off for the large blast radius, the Deathbringer reloads faster than most rocket launchers, making it a formidable asset to your arsenal.
- How do I get the Lumina in Destiny 2?
- The Lumina quest is no longer available in Destiny 2, but the Lumina hand cannon can be purchased from the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower. You need 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Baryon Bough, an Exotic Cipher, and an Ascendant Shard.
- How do I get to the Circle of Bones in Destiny 2?
- The Circle of Bones is located on the Moon in the Hellmouth. All entrances to the Hellmouth lead to the Circle of Bones. Look around the pit for the Withered Plumes weapon enhancement.
