Bike is the only ride in Days Gone and it gets damage as you use it. After visiting Copeland’s camp, it gets unlocked after Deacon chases a man while searching his broken bike. There is a mechanic where you can unlock Bike upgrades. There are three primary sections to upgrade, they are Performance, Visual and Paint. Also, one important thing during the gameplay you will unlock the second camp controlled by Tucker. There will be a multiple choice question where you have to give a Drug Stash to Copeland or to Tucker. If you choose Copeland you will unlock better upgrades and if you choose Tucker then you get better weapons. The list of upgrades below is based on default one available for all.
Days Gone Bike Upgrades List & Cost of Upgrades
All Bike Performance Upgrades:
Engine: At the start, the engine will have two upgrades one will be equipped by default. The engine is important for bike speed and durability.
- Standard Engine: Equipped by default.
- Engine 1: Requires 1,200 credits + Trust Level 1. It increases Top Speed and Durability.
Exhaust: The part under this upgrade reduces the bike sounds, so enemies can’t hear you from distance.
- Standard Exhaust: Equipped by default.
- Exhaust I: Requires 600 Credits + Trust Level 1. The upgrade will reduce bike noises.
Storage: You can increase the ammo refill carrying capacity by upgrading this section of the bike.
- No Storage: Equipped by default
- Saddlebags: Requires 800 Credits + Trust Level 2. Carry more ammo you can buy it from Merchant.
Fuel Tank: Increase bike fuel tank capacity to the max. The lower refueling requires, the longer you can travel.
- Standard Tank: Equipped by default
- Gas Tank I: Requires 500 Credits. Increase fuel intake capacity.
- Gas Tank II: Requires 800 Credits + Trust Level 2. Increase fuel intake capacity.
Frame: It is an important part, the frame determines the max health of Bike.
- Standard Frame: Equipped by default
- Frame I: Requires 450 Credits + Trust Level 1. Increases the amount of damage your bike can take.
- Alt Frame I: Requires 450 Credits + Trust Level 3. Increases the amount of damage your bike can take.
Nitrous: The upgrade offers a short speed boost.
- No Nitrous: Equipped by default
- Nitrous I: Requires 900 Credits + Trust Level 2. Adds a speed boost ability to the bike. Press X.
Tyres: Determines the bike’s traction.
- Standard Tyres: Equipped by default
- Tyre I: Requires 840 Credits + Trust Level 1. Increases bike traction.
- Alt Tyre I: Requires 840 Credits + Trust Level 2. Increases bike traction.
All Bike Visual Upgrades:
Headlight: A visual upgrade to change the bike’s headlight.
- Standard Headlight: Equipped by default.
- Headlight I: Requires 100 credits + Trust Level 1. Type 1 headlight.
- Headlight II: Requires 120 credits + Trust Level 2. Type 2 headlight.
Wheels: A visual upgrade to modify the bike’s wheels.
- Starting Wheels: Equipped by default.
- Wheel I: Requires 250 credits + Trust Level 2. Type 1 wheels.
- Wheel II: Requires 300 credits + Trust Level 2. Type 2 wheels.
Exhaust Tip: A visual upgrade to modify the bike’s exhaust.
- No Exhaust Tip: Equipped by default.
- Exhaust Tip I: Requires 120 credits + Trust Level 1. Type 1 exhaust tip.
- Exhaust Tip II: Requires 140 credits + Trust Level 1. Type 2 exhaust tip.
Front Fender: A visual upgrade to modify the bike’s front fender.
- No Fender: Equipped by default.
- Fender: Requires 100 credits + Trust Level 2. Type 1 fender.
Shroud: A visual upgrade to change the bike’s shroud.
- No Shroud: Equipped by default.
- Shroud I: Requires 100 credits + Trust Level 2. Type 1 shroud.
All Bike Paint Upgrades:
Accent Paint: A fresh coat of paint for your tank and other accents.
- Standard Theme Paint: Pick from various colors to make your bike look different.
Frame Paint: A fresh coat of paint for your bike frame.
Decals: Get some sweet stickers for your bike.
- There are around twenty different stickers you can add on your bike to make it look different.
