Microsoft is patching the Windows 10 Anniversary Update yet again. This time around, the company is rolling out update KB4016635 for version 1607. The new release doesn’t bring new features or improvements, instead it addresses two known issues with KB4013429.

KB4016635 bumps the version number of Windows to build 14393.670, and delivers fixes for a problem with CRM on IE11, and resolves error 0x80070216 that prevented users from updating Windows Store apps.

New changes on Windows 10 build 14393.670

Microsoft has announced KB4016635 in its support site, and it’s referred as “March 22, 2017—KB4016635 (OS Build 14393.970)”, and as with any other cumulative update this new release doesn’t include new features.

  • Addressed the issue with KB4013429 that prevents users from updating apps from Windows Store with 0x80070216 error.
  • Fixed a known issue with KB4013429 that caused form display issues with CRM 2011 on Internet Explorer 11.

Alongside the new update for version 1607, Microsoft is also releasing March 22, 2017—KB4016636 (OS Build 10586.842) for Windows 10 November Update fixing a known issue with KB4013198 that caused form display issues with CRM 2011 on Internet Explorer 11.

And March 22, 2017—KB4016637 (OS Build 10240.17320) for the initial release of Windows 10 that addresses a known issue with KB4012606 that caused form display issues with CRM 2011 on Internet Explorer 11.

How to download March 2017 Update for Windows 10

Windows 10 build 14393.970 (KB4016635) for PC is available immediately. The new update will download and install automatically, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.
